How it works
The algorithm evaluates a wide range of factors when generating daily match suggestions, including:

- Gender identity and preferences
- Geographic locality and distance

- Lifestyle habits such as drinking and smoking preferences
- Niche interests including specific sports, hobbies, and pastimes
- Religious beliefs and moral compatibility
The platform provides the suggestions, but it's up to members to make their profile stand out and spark a genuine connection. The algorithm creates the opportunity, chemistry does the rest.
Improving your visibility
While Classic members receive daily matches based on the algorithm, VIP and VIP+ members benefit from significantly enhanced visibility: VIP+ members appear at the top of every potential match's match stack, profile boosts (available as an add-on) temporarily increase visibility to all active members nearby, and Super Matches rise to the top of a recipient's inbox.
Super Match
Super Matches are a powerful premium feature that help members break through the noise and make a memorable first impression. When you send a Super Match, your message is delivered in a vibrant, distinctive colour scheme that immediately stands out in the recipient's inbox, your profile is always seen first by the recipient before any other match or message, and the recipient can reply directly, opening a full conversation thread.
Super Matches are available as a purchasable add-on for VIP+ members, making them an ideal tool for members who want to make a bold, confident move on someone they're particularly interested in.
Safety and trust
ID verification
ID verification is available to all members at no extra cost. Once verified, a badge appears on your profile that reassures potential matches they are communicating with a genuine, real person. This significantly reduces concerns about catfishing and builds trust across the community.
Admin profile validation
For members who want additional credibility without submitting sensitive identity documents, our team offers a manual admin validation process. A member of our team reviews and approves your profile, giving you a validation badge that communicates authenticity to your matches, all without compromising your personal information.
